St Christopher's Inn Greenwich

Everything! This was my first hostel experience. I arrived with doubts and concerns. I read their previews, and tbh I don't understand some guests. This is not a 5-star hotel. This is a little hostel. Those things what are important, i.e., comfy and clean bed, clean bathroom, community areas. The previous previews pointed on those thing what doesn't belong to the hosts. All bad things are the fault of the guests ie: when you use the toilet, flash it or don't break anything what you use, because it can take time to replace it and maybe the next guest is making the judgement, what you damaged and not the fault the place where you stay! And finally the staff! A big special thanks to Misti, Maddi, Zac, Rob, Marcio and of course the rest of the staff. All of them are special! They are extremely friendly, they have brilliant customer service and problem solving skills. They give full support, and you feel like if you stay with a family. I am happy I knew them. But my stay was extremely good, here. Thank you, guys. My rate for you 20 out of the 10!!!

Overall, everything was fine. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and they handled everything quickly and efficiently. The room and common areas were clean and well maintained.

Read reviews and got to know the hostel before booking, and I got exactly what I expected and a touch more. I was very happy about my stay. The rooms and beds with curtains were good and staff, breakfast and bar area great. Especially the authenticity and friendliness of the staff made me write the "touch more" part. Definitely very good value for money.

I was having a terrible day but that changed as soon as I set foot in the hostel. I was surprised to find that it was also a pub (even better, great atmosphere) Ambrose was doing both a reception & bar shift on his own but nonetheless was the main reason my bad day turned good. Thanks to his friendly chat & smile I felt most welcome and at ease. Ambrose deffo deserves to be recognised for all his hard work and personality. Great host , great place, best location (trainstation next door) will deffo come back!

Comfortable beds, accommodative staff, respectful roommates, storage underneath bed, clean bathrooms, restaurant/bar on ground floor, great chill-out room open 24/7 in basement, awesome place overall!
